Connect GreetWise to Zapier

Send every call, new contact, and booked appointment from GreetWise to your CRM, Google Sheets, Slack, and 1,000+ other apps.

Updated October 1, 2026

With Zapier, GreetWise can send what happens on your calls to the other apps you use. For example, you can add every new caller to your CRM, log each call summary in a Google Sheet, or post new bookings to Slack.

Note

Zapier is included on every GreetWise plan. You'll also need a Zapier account. Zaps with more than one step need a paid Zapier plan.

What you can send to Zapier

GreetWise works as a trigger in Zapier: something that happens in GreetWise starts your Zap. There are three triggers:

Trigger When it fires What it includes
New Completed Call When a call ends Caller name and phone, call length, AI call summary
New Contact When GreetWise learns a new caller's details during a call Name, phone, email (if given)
New Appointment Booked When GreetWise books an appointment Date, time, caller name, phone, email (if given), confirmation number

Step 1: Get your API key

  1. In GreetWise, go to Integrations and open Zapier.
  2. Click Connect. GreetWise creates your API key.
  3. Click Copy next to the key.

Keep this page open. You'll come back to it in step 3.

Warning

Your API key lets apps read your call, contact, and booking events. Only paste it into Zapier, and don't share it.

Step 2: Build your Zap

  1. In Zapier, create a new Zap.
  2. For the trigger, search for GreetWise and select it.
  3. Choose a Trigger event, such as New Completed Call.
  4. Click Sign in to connect your GreetWise account, then paste your API key and continue.
  5. Click Test trigger. Zapier pulls in your most recent calls, contacts, or bookings so you can see the data.
  6. Add the action you want, such as Create Spreadsheet Row in Google Sheets, and map the GreetWise fields into it.
  7. Turn the Zap on.
Tip

If the test finds nothing, GreetWise doesn't have an event of that type yet. Make a test call to your GreetWise number (and book an appointment, if you're testing bookings), then click Test trigger again.

Step 3: Verify the connection

Back in GreetWise on the Zapier page, click Verify. The "Zapier install is not complete" message goes away and the integration shows as connected.

From now on, GreetWise sends each new event to your Zap as soon as it happens.

Add more Zaps

You only connect your account once. For each new Zap, choose GreetWise as the trigger and pick the account you already connected. You can have as many Zaps as you like, including several using the same trigger.

Troubleshooting

Verify says the install isn't complete. Zapier hasn't used your key yet. Finish step 2 (at least through signing in to GreetWise in Zapier), then click Verify again.

Zapier says the API key is invalid. Copy the key again from Integrations → Zapier and make sure no spaces were added at the start or end. If you disconnected Zapier in GreetWise, your old key no longer works. Connect again to get a new one.

A contact didn't trigger my Zap. New Contact only fires for contacts GreetWise creates from calls. Contacts you add by hand in GreetWise don't trigger it.

My Zap stopped running. Check that the Zap is still on in Zapier, and that Zapier still shows as connected in GreetWise.

Disconnect Zapier

In GreetWise, open Integrations → Zapier and click Disconnect. This revokes your API key, and all of your Zaps stop getting GreetWise events.

To connect again later, click Connect to get a new key. Then in Zapier, reconnect your GreetWise account with the new key, and turn each Zap off and back on.

For developers

The API and webhook payloads behind this integration are documented in the GreetWise Zapier API reference.
